Asaf Jahi Custodian Hosts Secular Holi Celebrations

Nawab Raunaq Yar Khan, the symbolic custodian of the Asaf Jahi legacy, will host Holi celebrations at his Jubilee Hills estate this Tuesday. The event continues a fifty-year tradition dedicated to reviving the secular cultural practices characteristic of the Nizam era. Participants from various backgrounds are invited to join the festival of colours and share a community lunch at the private estate. The scheduled programme features diverse folk performances, traditional rituals, and educational talks regarding the historical significance of Holi. Recent iterations of the gathering have focused on providing alcohol-free, heritage-oriented recreation for expatriates and younger generations.
