Nizam’s Kin Bats For Unity, Secular Values

Raunaq Yar Khan, a descendant of the Asaf Jah dynasty, called on people of all faiths to rebuild trust and strengthen shared humanity at the Jaibharat Muslim Revolutionary Forum (JMRF) Ittehad conference in Hyderabad. He emphasized that communal harmony should be expressed through genuine shared celebrations, meals and festivals rather than only through words. Khan highlighted Hyderabad’s pluralistic legacy and described the Asaf Jahi tradition as one of service, compassion and dignity toward all communities. He stated that this legacy belongs collectively to Hyderabad and India and must be preserved through humility, continuity and respect. Organisers said the second JMRF session focused on promoting secular values, social reform and interfaith unity. The JMRF, a sub-wing of the Jaibharat movement, aims to foster constructive dialogue, community reform and mutual understanding within a national framework of harmony and inclusiveness. Jaibharat is described as an independent, non-political initiative dedicated to national unity, social justice and inter-community solidarity. The inaugural JMRF session was launched by Raunaq Yar Khan on September 28, providing a platform for progressive and reform-oriented discourse.
