Shia Council Wants Raunaq Yar Khan to Oversee Muharram Rally

The Shia Civil Council for Justice has requested the Telangana Wakf Board to allow the Bibi Ka Alawa and Bibi Ka Alam procession to be held on Muharram, led by Nawab Raunaq Yar Khan, who is the democratically elected Ninth Nizam. The council asserts that Raunaq Yar Khan is recognized by members of the certified Royal Family of the Nizams I to VI and is legally listed under the VII Nizam’s trust, known as the ‘Sahebzadegan of Sarf-e-Khas Trust.’ This trust includes over 4,000 members who have formally acknowledged him as their representative. The council criticized the HEH Nizam Trust for not fulfilling its duties regarding the procession.
